For many families in rural areas, the nearest hospital is hours away. A day of lost wages is a big cost. That is why health camps that come to the village still make a real difference.
What we saw
At our last camp, many visitors had never had their blood pressure checked. Several were referred for follow-up care they would otherwise have missed.
What’s next
We plan to run camps every month and add follow-up visits so patients can keep up with their treatment.
